Marine Physics


 

The Department of Marine Physics has been operating for over 23 years in the fields of Oceanography, Marine Sciences, Sediments, Meteorology, and so on. Graduates of this field will be able to acquire scientific and practical skills that, in addition to preparing them for higher education, can be well utilized, using the experiences and studies available in this field to solve the physical and dynamic problems of the sea, including issues related to waves, tides, marine sediments, coastal processes and coastline changes, fluctuations in temperature, salinity and depth of water, sea currents and other marine phenomena, as well as modeling and forecasting a variety of marine models in these fields. The field of marine physics covers a set of educational and research activities, one of which is to educate committed specialists to carry out education and research tasks. The main activities of the teaching staff of this department revolve around designing and conducting proposals, collaboration with students in various fields, carrying out naval operations (including field measurements, sea patrols, etc.), carrying out relevant lab work, holding workshops and scientific visits.
