Mathematical Sciences

The computer science department at Tarbiat Modares University dates back to 2008, when MSc courses mainly in theoretical computer sciences were offered, but nowadays our focus has moved mathematical modeling and computational aspects of data sciences and Machine learning as well as applications to areas such as imaging, large scale networks and data mining. Our MSc students usually take a wide range of courses like computational complexity, convex optimization, Machine learning, data mining, theory of learning and modeling of big data.
