Biomedical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering

This department started admitting students immediately after the approval of the field in 2010. This department plans its academic programs in accordance with international standards and strives to accomplish its mission based on national requirements.

Biotechnology
Biotechnology

Establishment of biotechnology department was first put forward in 1990, and two years later, the first Biotechnology Department was founded at TMU. This department admits MSc and PhD students and is wellknown as a distinguished and leading department in the area of biotechnology in Iran. Research activities of the department are conducted in 3 laboratories equipped with new facilities under the supervision of faculty members and specialists.

Petroleum Engineering
Petroleum Engineering

The Petroleum Engineering Department (Reservoir Engineering Branch) was founded as a separate department of Chemical Engineering Faculty of TMU in 2012. In the same year, the department started admitting tuition-paying students (known as financially self-sustained campus).

Polymer Engineering
Polymer Engineering

This departments academic activities go back to 1998 when it started as a sub-discipline of chemical engineering department. It is managed to train alumni most of whom have been hired by research centers and industries. To maintain its leading position, this department presently pursues its academic and research tasks in a close and fair competition with other polymer institutes in Iran.

Polymerization
Polymerization

This department began its academic activities in 2010 by admitting 5 master students. This department has three full-time faculty members and presently admits both master and doctorate students in polymeric reactions and design and synthesis of macromolecules.

Process Engineering
Process Engineering

The department of chemical engineering was founded in 1984 in the faculty of Chemical Engineering. The department's mission revolved around the training of experts at MSc and PhD level in chemical engineering, especially for petroleum, gas and petro-chemical industries.
