    Abstract

    Methods: This quasi-experimental study (2016) had two groups of control and experimental. Patients in the control group were cared for according to routine postoperative care. Information in the control group was collected and recorded using a hemodynamic evaluation checklist. In the experimental group, nursing care program based on patientschr ('39') needs according to the principles of patient care management, after Cardiac surgery was designed and performed for 2.5 months. A total of 53 patients in each group were selected according to the sample characteristics including successful heart surgery and age of 20-75 years and stabilization of relative hemodynamic status. Five electronic bibliographic database (Science Direct, Pro Quest, Scopus, Pub-Med, Scientific Information Database) were systematically searched for relevant literature published from 1980 to 2018.     Background: Diabetes mellitus is one of the most common chronic diseases that causes various complications. Glycosylated hemoglobin is a reliable indicator of diabetes. Objectives: The purpose of the present study was to assess the impact of discharge planning on improving glycosylated hemoglobin in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods: This is a quasi-experimental study which was conducted in Vasei Hospital, Sabzevar, in 2014. The subjects of this study included 70 patients with type 2 diabetes who were chosen non-randomly through convenience sampling. The subjects were divided into the intervention and control groups.     Background Ostomy significantly alters one’s elimination pattern and can affect the individual in physiological, psychosocial and spiritual aspects. Over time, the ostomy patient’s experience changes and they develop coping strategies to handle the new reality. The aims of this study sought Iranian ostomy patients’ main problem, how they deal and the outcome of their efforts to manage that problem in their daily lives. Method A qualitative content analysis was conducted involving twenty-seven ostomy patients that were chosen by purposeful sampling and referred to the Iranian Ostomy Association from October 2015 to June 2016.

    This study was carried out to explore the sexual performance experiences of patients with an ostomy and their spouses. Determine the results of fertility in these patients is another goal of the study. Conventional content analysis approach with purposive sampling and unstructured interviews were utilized to collect data from 27 ostomy patients and ten of their spouses. They were selected from Iranian Ostomy Association in Tehran.
