Dr. Kadivar received his PhD in applied hydrodynamics from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the experimental study of single bubble dynamics and finally as a research group leader in the fields of cavitation and flow control at the University of Duisburg-Essen. His research areas include numerical and experimental aerodynamics and hydrodynamics, hydrodynamic cavitation and single bubbles, fluid flow control in aerohydrodynamic applications, and bubble simulation at the micro and nano scale. He has scientific and research collaborations with universities and centers of excellence in Germany, Japan, China, Russia, and South Korea in his scientific and research portfolio. Obtaining research funds from the German Research Foundation for research projects, as well as joint funds with universities in Japan and South Korea, and receiving funds from INSF are among his other outstanding research activities. He has published more than 70 articles in international journals and conferences, and has served as a reviewer for more than 60 ISI journals and guest editor for three ISI journals. He has received the Weinblum Award from Germany for his outstanding research in the field of applied hydrodynamics.
